Alshagar is one of the few halasan who shows kindness to a Vantu. Typically, they exist on the fringes of society, entering communities merely to destroy and pillage. As such, he serves an important purpose, especially in contrast to Zemorah. Both are exceptions among their people, Alshagar for his virtue and Zemorah for her vice.
